The QoG Data Finder is a a tool for people interested in finding data about Quality of Government and related concepts.
With the numbers of efforts to create and publish reliable data, it has become more difficult to know what data is available, to know if it comes at the individual-level, country-level, if it is openly accessible or needs registration. Sometimes, the user wants to know what other data efforts have the researchers and institutions have undertaken and where to find these sources.
Our hope is that this platform is a starting point to find data on particular topics, sources and categories and makes the efforts of teaching, learning, researching and reporting in political science a bit easier.
The Quality of Government Institute is an independent research institute within the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg. We are about 30 researchers who conduct and promote research on the causes, consequences and nature of Good Governance and the Quality of Government (QoG) - that is, trustworthy, reliable, impartial, uncorrupted and competent government institutions.
The QoG Data is our initiative to bring reliable, open-source data to the academic and civil community.
